who we are

About Us

We believe that true economic development and the eradication of poverty within South Africa and Africa cannot be talked about without building the creative economy. Across Africa, numerous informal entrepreneurs produce exceptional crafts using low carbon footprint methods, driving a rural and township-based economic stimulus difficult to measure. We are passionate about bringing recognition to this sector and believe that local talent and manufacturing provide a competitive and real solution for corporates and retailers’ procurement needs.

About Us

We believe in the creative power of Africa and its vital economic contribution to the continent’s economies, and the necessity of cultivating and supporting the informal creative sector by bridging the gap between the formal and informal market place.

For the formal sector looking to support and buy local, we source, procure and connect the right creatives and products ensuring best practice, product excellence and price competitiveness.

For the creatives, we offer and provide real solutions and avenues that empower and give them a seat at the table. Whether already established and looking to reinvent or expand products or thinking of starting up - we are here to make the journey easier and assist in developing vision.

Through incubation workshops and hands-on involvement, we help in the process of bringing products to life. We give step by step solutions from initial conceptualisation to product development, manufacturing, operations, quality control and to the implementation of processes and systems.

We believe the local creative and manufacturing industry should be accessible to all.

We work hand in hand with all participants and stakeholders across the value chain to develop and promote local product excellence and to competitively position the local creative industry within the economy.
